A500+ Back from the dead

The usual suspect

Why was I not surprised to find the battery as the
culprit for why this Amiga 500+ was not working..

This A500+ was a gift to a friend. Sadly it wasn`t
working. When powered up the lights flashed but
little else. Having split the machine open I found
the battery had leaked badly...

There was little I could do to salvage the motherboard
so I swapped it out, and now she is working fine

Another Amiga lives to fight again
