I puchased my first computer from Currys in Brownhills
Walsall West Midlands for £45 in 1981. I still have the box
July 1996 to January 2000
January 2000 to April 2008
April 2008 to February 2011
My XP machine sits behind me and is still fully active
She is used for Ejay given that my 64bit machine refuses to
run the software. She is also used for video editing as again
all my editing software will not work on the Windows 7 machine
I would extract her to take a picture but she has my PS2 on top
plus a TV and man would that be hard to shift. A future project
February 2011 to Present
What can I say. The Windows 7 machine has worked without fault
since February 2011. How boring is that.... Sadly having everything
you ever wanted in a computer just provides absolutely no challenge
Like food without taste... Healthy though, and I'm not complaining
I will take some pictures at some time, but for now she sits below
this table quiet as a mouse just doing the job. She has been very good
I keep each machine's software that I use in small plastic containers
with different coloured lids. Each computer has a girls name... Lara,
Regina, Coral etc which is a throw back from the Amiga which meant girl
friend. All the girls have been very good friends to me and I would have
been lost without them. Love the ones you love... Happy days
This is some of the stuff I extracted from the various boxes
