TRUE COLOUR is here: The Harlequin Frame Buffer

The 24-bit technology that will bring 16 million
colour consists, like most other computer
advances, of two seperate elemants: hardware
and software. The software to generate True
Colour images is around already and certainly
24-bit paint programs are certainly under
development. All that is missing is the
display hardware that will alow us to put these
colours onto the screen...

"Commodore does not have to produce a 24-bit
card - clearly there are many alternatives"
says Perry Kivolovtz of ASDG.
