Someone's beloved Speccy games.. Busted
Five screws and we are in
The tape is broken inside
Looks like a previous repair
What's needed is two soft rubbers
and some Selotape.
I found big rubbers very good for
holding the tape in place. Then
stick you tape to the surface and
then run it down over the tape
With the tape and Selotape in
place use a cutting implement
such as a blade or old razor
Cut either side and don't leave
any sticky over. Be precise.
Job done
Great thing about most cassettes is
that they screwed back together
Razor blades. An architects eraser
If you have ever drawn on tracing
sheets and need to make a change
you would use a razor blade to literally
scratch out the lines. Takes a little
time to get it right without cutting
the paper. But works very well
Here is one with a masking tape handle
And the rubber is used to clean
the surface after a scratch out
OK back to the tape... Tried the +2 and no luck
Need better control of the sound output
My goodness... where did that come from ?
Crazy game. You have the simple job
of jumping up through the holes as
they move along. Thing is if you
miss time your jump you are dazed
and very likely will fall through
a hole in the platform you are on
As ever got hooked
Always more than one game on one
of these home made cassettes

Magazine stuff

Time to stop this Speccy game fest
So simple a concept. Just track your
way through the rooms and find the
keys avoiding the goblins and ghosts
And keyboard as the main option
Certainly a load more fun and personal
reward when you can fix stuff. Like I
say , pretty pointless with a busted CD
