Case off.
Record the cable and wire connectors.
And this time I need to take the whole
computer apart and check things out.
Record the ribbon connections.
Remove the 030.
Lift the cradle clear of the motherboard.

Interesting !!
Answers on a postcard.
The board was so so dusty.
Strange wiring to the controller port.
Very clean battery removal.
I cleaned the motherboard, reseated what
I could and made better connection with
the stirrup on the GARY chip.
Dusted off the 030. Reseated and checked
the ribbon connector.
All back together and I get a green screen.
Very promising. CPU failure.
Pulled the card and booted off the floppy.
No problems with the motherboard. So I
cleaned the connector and reseated the
GVP 030 card firmly.
And like magic she sprang back into life.
Such a welcome sight.
All working with no issue.
Even Clara is back to her old self.
