RAMPAGE - The Magazine on Two Disks.
Top of the pile of magazines I was looking into for the Aladdin
article were these RAMPAGE and STAMPEDE disk magazines. Odd little
magazines as the paper sleeve, almost, inside was just a series
of adverts, with the magazine proper on the disks.
The magazine started life as STAMPEDE which is a play on ST Atari
and Amiga and then became RAMPAGE. I sense that the publisher was
pretty keen on Star Wars.
The magazine took the sealing of cover disks to a new level what
with the whole package being sealed in a plastic bag. And so if
you have the actual cover sleeve and advert pages you really don't
have the magazine at all. You need the actual disks to enjoy the
content of this Amiga magazine. Didn't last very long.
