Amiga - InfoNexus.
Following on from my post the other day about Direct Work I set
about trying to find the box and manual for InfoNexus. I found the
manual but the box eludes me. Not to worry.
My preference for file management is always Dopus IV. I cannot
think of a reason to use anything else. I have my configuration
set in stone and would have to have a very good reason to switch
to another File Manager. Saying all that, I really never had any
great issue with both InfoNexus or DataNexus. The software is
very simple to understand, responsive and looks actually better
than DOpus. If I had found Nexus first I guess I would have
stayed with that. I do like the icons on the management screen
cus it helps sort files, tools and images. Also everything is
so easy to action and to use via the content pane for drives.
So if you struggle with DOpus and want to give another file
manager a try I would certainly have a play with InfoNexus. It
can be found on Amiga Format cover disk 76a along with DataNexus.
I didn't really need the manual as it was so simple to use.
