Sad to think that this set of manuals together with the A4000 equivalent were the last to be released by Commodore for a computer. Although Workbench 3.1 has the manuals they were not released by Commodore as sadly the company had gone bust by that stage. I have been sorting out a large pile of paperwork and have these manuals on hand for when I need to make quick reference for the blog and answering queries on the forums. I was amazed in truth that there was an actual floppy only based addendum for the A1200. That was the way of Commodore being thorough and always more than happy to explain the product to the end user. So different from the attitudes of manufacturers today. Not all the manuals came with your system. It really did depend on the A1200 pack that you purchased. In addition, however, if you purchased say the Desktop Dynamite pack you would also get the Deluxe Paint IV manual and the WordWorth set of manuals. Anyhoo that was that for my late spring clean of the shelf in the large room next door. Sadly the last few days have been a touch disappointing as I was anticipating a delivery of an Amiga book which sadly has not arrived. I have been treading water these last few days readying my session for the manual. But it has not arrived. In the last twenty years of using Ebay this is only the second time it has happened. Last time was with a Bart Simpson game. Ar hum ! There are worse problems in the world. Never mind. Gotta think of something else to busy myself with tomorrow and put my prepared session away.
