Lost Little Helpers - The Texas Instruments TI-34
Remember the days when learning or needing help doing things meant
reaching for your calculator or dictionary. Seems all lost on
todays mobile phone user with everything just a press of a button
away. Even the art of typing has all but died as most just thumb
their way through a few heavy LOLs in answer to blogs and such.
So reflect on days gone by and here are three helping hands that
once were gold to users of typewriters and paperwork challenges.
Finally we have a calculator. Not just a calculator but a solar
scientific by Texas Instruments. This calculator is just so cool.
It is wafer thin, great colours and for a calculator from 1987 still
works. Thing about solar is that you are never sure it switches off
cus its always on when you slide out the calculator.
Pure and simple .... a calculator.
Funny thing, I always have to use a proper calculator. At work I often
lost my calculator buried under mounds of paperwork. I would ask if
anyone had seen it to the thunderous response... USE THE ONE ON YOUR
COMPUTER. Never could and never have.
