ScuzzBlog: Diaries December 2017 Entry 27th December 2017: Post: 3 The Stringy Floppy Not sure, but I think the 'Stringy Floppy' was introduced by TRS and made by a company called Exatron. Works on the basis of a continuous loop of tape moving at a very fast speed. Don't quote me on it as I have no real idea how they work. I have a few devices that kinda work like this and here are a couple. For me I have never really had much success and the real floppy has always served as more than adequate.
