ScuzzBlog: Diaries December 2019 Entry 23rd December 2019: Post 02: Amiga 1200 - Buffered Interface. Amiga 1200 - Buffered Interface. My preferred weapon of choice when attaching various devices to the A1200 is the handy buffered interface. I have featured this little baby before. Just that I had the Power Computing small manual to hand when I was featuring the Power Flyer so thought I would add some pics here. I have a bucket load of these things and use quite a few in computers. Essentially you need IDEFix'97 which makes the whole install process of additional IDE drives, CD-ROMs etc a piece of *iss. The buffered interface did come in a variety of shapes and sizes. I have quite an elaborate one fitted to my A4000T plus the Ateo Concepts 4000/040 in the tower.
