ScuzzBlog: Diaries February 2026 Entry 24th February 2026: Post 1: Amiga 500 - Machine No 33 and Amiga Test Kit 1.21. Amiga 500 - Machine No 33 and Amiga Test Kit 1.21. On the bench and still running Amiga Test Kit 1.21. I haven't used the software before and thought it would register an OK when it checked the memory. I left it running whilst I had a session of World of Warcraft and when I came back it was on Round 1140 and no errors so I will take that a a good sign. I didn't find any guides with the software so just checked what I could from the menu. The only thing I didn't test was the rear serial and parallel ports which I believe require a special dongle. I didn't uncover any nasty faults and all seemed to work OK. The machine used was one of my A500s Machine No 33. The monitor is the Samsung T220HD with the SCART on the rear. The last pic I show here is of the A500 hooked up to the MicroVitec. That is just to show the Speedking joystick and mouse that I was using. I finished by booting into WB1.3 and my own BayBench WB disks and the Thunderbirds game just to make sure everything was running OK. Not more I can say really. Kinda what you want to see from an Amiga test. So er.. that was that.. OK.. How you dooin ? Going now. Amiga 500 - Machine No 33 and Amiga Test Kit 1.21.
