Entry 29th January 2022: Post 1: A M O S - Most of the covers.
A M O S - Most of the covers.
Few Amiga products have given me so much satisfaction than AMOS.
With any number of projects on the go at the same time there was
always something to do when using AMOS. Over the years I have
tried to put together as much of what they published, and with
the sumptuous offerings given out by the various magazines it
really is very easy to delve into the magic of AMOS. With little
guidance you really can begin to create your own games. And it
doesn't stop there, as the applications of use are limitless. All is
needed is a little imagination and a healthy dose of AMOS.
I collected together today a fist full of AMOS cover disks plus
the magazines and thrust them onto the bench. Hopefully there
will be something amongst this lot that catches your eye. For me
I use AmosPro but any of the earlier versions will do.
What is here is just the tip of a very big iceberg. I spent way
too long interacting with fellow users on the groups. They were
always very enthusiastic to share in what they had done. It is
just a shame that the wealth of knowledge is not so easily found
these days. It was just so wonderful having an active audience
of experts to pose your questions to.
Happy days.
I do make reference to RELOKICK which I am sure you can find.
