ScuzzBlog: Diaries January 2025 Entry 26th January 2025: Post 1: Amiga Games Reviewer - Jon Pillar. Amiga Games Reviewer - Jon Pillar. Fans of Your Sinclair and Amiga Power will be aware of the work of Jonathan Nash also known as Jon Pillar. I read with much sadness that Jon has passed away. Always hopeful I am wrong. For me Jon often popped up in Amiga Format reviewing games. If true a sad loss. One game he reviewed was actually inside Amiga Format 37 which by chance I was using for a blog on Format cover disk collections. I had never even seen this game before. Sadly I couldn't get further than the security question as I didn't have the manual. CU Amiga also ran a review of the game. I have spent the last few days salvaging busted cover disks in a challenge I gave myself. Been a long hard process this, but I just about did it. I was planning on running the blog tomorrow but I fear I may be without power due to the impending storm. I have already spent a day cleaning out gutters and battening down the hatches. Not sure how many storms we have had in the last few months but this is getting a touch tedious. It's already been raining none stop here tonight.
