ScuzzBlog: Diaries January 2025 Entry 28th January 2025: Post 1: The Dark Ones 93 Copy Disk. The Dark Ones 93 Copy Disk. There was a question on a well known forum asking why XCOPY was so popular. Well for one it was real easy to copy. Whilst rescuing the Amiga Collection disks I came across this strange disk lurking inside an AMOS disk. The disk was called The Dark Ones 93 CopyDisk and was filled with useful tools for copying disks. The creator one Phillie Blunts Copy Shop appeared to have some anger issues stating that the 'Executioners prepare to meet your makers when the Dark Ones find you! Mess with the best and die like the rest'. Not my words. He goes on to say ' Greetings to One in a Million and Custard Slop, Faith is no more and neither are the Executioners '. Serious stuff. Anyhoo just thought I would share the antics of XCOPY users in the day. I sense that most of less reputable Amiga users of the time were more than happy to brag about their cracking activities. And for some it seems they were in open war mode. All as broadcast through the disk distribution services of the fun loving Amiga. The Dark Ones 93 Copy Disk.
