Just a quick follow up to the blog from the other day where I featured the lovely Lisa A600. I went on the hunt for the keyboard LED connector and was surprised to find it. One of the wires has come loose but that can be easily fixed. I also swapped out the keyboard. I still have a key missing but the front case cover and keys are in a lot better condition. I cleaned out the dust bunnies. Next I hooked up the floppy drive having dug out a ribbon and power cable. The ribbon is a little clumsy on the A600 needing to be folded under the drive. I am still missing a bracket but think I know where it is. So switching on I get the gentle click of the drive and the LED for power. Plus there is the caps light working so keyboard is working. Just wish I could coax poor Lisa into returning. Maybe in time. All things are possible. So that is that for the A600 for now. Still a future project.
