Amiga PD - NBS Catalogue Disk.
I have received a request for the NBS PD catalogue disk. Sadly I
don't have one and I have searched endlessly for one in the past.
I did do a feature on the NBS catalogue some while back and I will
provide the link at the foot of this blog.
I have around 50 NBS disks. I have explained previously that trying
to put together collections of Public Domain disks is a near
impossibility. There were literally thousands and thousands at any
one house, and there was never a complete catalogue. Sourcing the
disks is quite the massive task. Not sure it is even possible today.
Most PD disks repeated themselves at varying houses and the best
solution is to acquire the 17Bit collections on CD cus that really
covers most of the bases.
I have ADF copied all my PD disks. I checked through the 50 or so
that I have and they range from demo disks like Walker, utilities
disks like fonts, applications like Address Prints, Lockpick, Virus
Free Engineers Kit, to picture slideshows , movies like Anti-Lemmings
and your basic printer drivers.
All pretty mundane stuff to be honest. And you have to search all
of them to see what is included.
Interestingly the guy that contacted me was sure one of the disks
he wanted was Ghostship. I do have the version of the game on a
Crazy Joes Disk and also have the catalogue.
