My Acorn Army - A3010 reporting for duty: Phase II
OK I have four of the A3010 [ don't ask ] and they are generally
fine. However this little machine was stationed in its box and I
think avoided full inspection last year. So stand by your beds !!
Attention !!!
Acorn Archimedes A3010 as made by Acorn Computers in the UK 1992
Uses BBC BASIC plus the RISC OS3.1 OS
Has a full stroke keyboard
The CPU is an ARM 250 32 bit RISC running at 12 MHz
RAM is 1 MB up to 4 MB and ROM is 1 MB
The computer has the green function keys, I guess declaring the Acorn.
Unfortunately this computer did not have the battery removed last year.
And the reason was that I couldn't undo the tiny screw on the inside.
The A3010 AWOL last year
I had to drill out the screw sadly
OK I've reached my objective
Time to go in.
Battery removed.. Mission accomplished
Sadly some track damage.. Fingers crossed
Seems to be working .. Onward
