ScuzzBlog: Diaries March 2020 Entry 3rd March 2020: Post 01: A-500 Plus - How many do I own? Pt I A-500 Plus - How many do I own? Pt I With so many A500s strewn around the place and quite a number with A-500 Plus motherboards it is difficult to know just how many of the Plus and original 500s I have. I thought I had 36 collectively but even after this exercise I discovered another. If you add the two that are in Checkmates I have even more. Quite a number of my 500s are in use and a good number more are in boxes stored away. So I have had to trawl through web pages to find them all. A lot of my 500s are literally stacked up in a line and for these machines I gave each a number for reference purposes. Before this little exercise I had no idea just how many A-500 Plus computers I had. I also didn't know if all were working. And so here goes. I limited the pictures to a handful, but still spread the blog out over three pages. I do have separate blogs for each machine and in time may just link to them. Only one machine wasn't working, or should I say it's floppy wasn't working and that became the subject of a blog which I feature tomorrow. Deep breath then ... Computer No 02 - Amiga 500/02 A500 with Viper CD accelerator and HD. Computer No 03 - Amiga 500/03 Boxed Amiga 500 in deep store. Computer No 04 - Amiga 500/04 2nd Boxed Amiga 500 in deep store. Computer No 05 - Amiga 500/05 Screen Gems Amiga 500 boxed number 1. Computer No 06 - Amiga 500/06 Screen Gems Amiga 500 boxed number 2. Computer No 07 - Plus 500/01 A-500 Plus with sidecar set up in box room. This computer has ROM switcher. Computer No 08 - Amiga 500/07 Boxed Amiga 500 in main store. Computer No 09 - Plus 500/02 Boxed Amiga 500 Plus in main store. Computer No 10 - Amiga 500/08 Boxed Amiga 500 deep in store. Computer No 11 - Plus 500/03 Boxed Amiga 500 Plus Cartoon Classics. Computer No 12 - Amiga 500/09 Amiga 500 in Cartoon Classics Box. The RAM corrosion I think is spider infestation from previous owner. No corrosion on mobo. Computer stored in box replacing a Plus that I keep out for checking processes. Computer No 13 - Plus 500/04 2nd Boxed Amiga 500 Plus Cartoon Classics. My little army of A500's waiting checking No Amiga 500s were hurt making this blog
