Bit like the Osborne this but a little easier to store having
square edges. The sits on its keyboard at the bottom and has these
clever slide bays for power and expansions plus cables. The unit
has one or two floppy drives adjacent the main screen plus the
retractable keyboard. All very basic but again a weight and a half
Compaq Portable made in the USA around 1984 ( 1983 USA )
Full stroke keyboard plus numpad
Uses the Intel 8088 running at 4.77 MHz
RAM is 128 Kb up to 256 Kb
The screen is green phosphor
The OS is MS-DOS 1.1
I have resisted both cleaning and running this computer. My failure
this week with the Osborne and Amstrad have left me a touch nervous.
