Ben ... Meet Marjorie
I like a simple Workbench. Normally 3.1
Black background and Garnet. Nothing
Fancy. Limited colours, high res and
generally no fancy back drops. That way
you guarantee a fast system.
On the backdrop just DOpus, Parnet and Icon Copy
Like I say this is a stripped installation
Just my basic folders that I need to use the CD
Oh and Algo Music
You have to have Algo Music
Workbench is also pretty basic
My main work folder with just the essentials
Sorry.. Can't capture moving images
You get the idea ...
Nothing and I mean nothing can create
a twenty frame animation of a bouncing
ball quicker than DPaint. Seriously !!!
Drag and drop your icons into Icon Copy
and instantly change the images on icons
The blah blah stuff.. Like it matters
AND HERE IS BEN !!!!
This is what I use this A4000d for
JUST THE CD DRIVE... As you do !!
Cus AF CDs are literally full of stuff
It's endless and I mean endless
Userful bits and bobs find their way into
the CVink repository and then get tranferred
to other machines. So this is the beginning
of the chain. That's the lovely Clara there
and my very essential TOOLS disk.
The icon for CVinK actually is taken
from a story I wrote on the Amiga back
in 1994 called The Edr Gate.
Oh dear.. I found a game
What am I like ?
Better have a play now
I won.. Pathetic I know but I did
have my one hand on the camera
You can simply copy this game to hard drive.
When you get this alert message just OK it
and the game still runs. And the music is by
the very talented Allister Brimble. Team 17
are just the best at everything.
For the 1200 and 4000 only and available
on CU Amiga cover disk 112
That's all from Marjorie
What's your Amiga called ?
