BBC A3000 - Saved by the Microvitec

Not exactly the best solution but sadly the only one I could find.
Need to research more options. The problem is the large pin connector
for the monitor, when most are smaller pins and more of them. I
had to buy a gender changer to connect to the Microvitec. I thought
it would work on the Commodore monitor but I got no signal, well
other than red stripes.

I have two of the BBC A3000s and last year removed the battery from
both. The one has a hard drive that refuses to boot. The other lost
its applications somehow. Not a problem, both worked all the same.
Very interesting computers albeit a little frsutrating with the
monitor connections. Also the mouse port in the base is very silly.

BBC A3000 inside out

My first BBC A3000, and I'm thinking its yesterday

This machine has all its applications still

My A1200 was a little annoyed to be sharing
the monitor.. But hey only temporary

My second BBC A3000 lost the apps at the time
I removed the battery. Still works a treat though

I have to leave the note on the monitor
as the press button on off is busted. So
just leave in the on position..

As for the two A3000s, well they are back
safely in store and all 'tickety boo ' as we say

Guess I better water the garden as it
didn't rain today... Never mind
