Atari Lynx - In need of big pockets
So the idea with The Lynx was to carry this around as a 'hand-held'.
All I can say is that folk must have had some mighty big pockets
that used these hand-helds.
Nice unit albeit a touch big for the intended use. I am not a great
fan of small screen hand-held units so I would hardly ever have
bought one in the day, or indeed any similar unit for the period.
Uses six AA batteries which would also have proven a large obstacle
in using the thing. The image display wasn't bad though, for me,
unless you get the angle right and gave no reflective glare it's
fine. Anyway thought I would carry on with a few hand-helds so I
could glide nicely onto the Neo.
The Lynx made by Atari in September 1989.
Uses the Mikey 16 MHz with 64KB RAM
Media is provided via 512 KB max cartridge.
