Acorn Electron - Will the page ever get an update.
So is it likely that I will ever update the main gallery images
to include higher quality pics from the scuzzblog diaries. The
answer is not very likely. I have attempted several times to add
blog images to the main site but the challenge is far too great.
The main issue is, by the time I have progressed the galleries I
will have added another dozen or so blogs. I would need to add
even further work to blog entries by constantly updated the
main gallery pages.
What that means is those wishing to see the larger images that
are associated with blogs will need to fire up the index and
simply do a search for what ever they are looking for. Not the
most perfect of solutions, but is the only one I can provide.
I doubt anyone is going to offer to update the pages. I am also
pretty sure that if I gave over the site they would fill the
pages with adverts.
And so wonderful blogs like the one I featured for the boxed
Electron computer and datasette tape recorder are lost to the
pages of the scuzzblog diaries. You just have to know where to
look. Had I used a better camera with access to higher screen
resolutions and also had a computer with the higher resolutions
and had some kind of crystal ball into the future then maybe
things would have been different. The site suffers for being
over twenty years old, and is run by an old fuddy duddy that
didn't even know the May blog pages were titled as April. Duh.
Anyhoo.. The Electron featured here was gifted to me by a work
colleague who had had the machine since new, including the tape
player. With the computer came all the original packaging and
with access to the owner I was able to validate the history of
the Electron. Which trust me is always super useful.
So there you have it a blog with both old and new combined.
Just a heads up 'spoiler alert' tomorrow I have a new gallery
of an item that I have only this week added to the collection.
Mad or what ? I'm bonkers.
PS: What is interesting about this page and why I chose it
is the main website gallery images are already at a higher
resolution. How strange.
