The Acid Test - Part 2

On the Plus side that is three down and not very many to go. I do not
own that many Amiga Plus models so checking them over shouldn't be
too hard a struggle.

Took me three days.. just don't know where the time went.

COMPUTER No. 4

OK to A-500Plus computer number 4

Side expansion cover and trap door exposed

Machine is definitely an A500+

Second hand sticker and my scribble
so the computer should be working

The smallest of RAM expansion cards

This computer did suffer quite a lot
of battery damage when I first had her

The damage always runs up to JP9
and out from the legs of U12

The unit is fitted with a ROM switcher

Note the damage around CLOCK

The lime green indicates the issues

Interesting that some A500 boards are
this pale yellow green colour and others
much darker green

Kinda caught the battery damage in
time to save the machine though the
damage to the board had already eaten
into some of the tracks

Lime green spots evident

I'm almost tempted to think that
damage could be from spider or other
insect droppings. Spiders can be quite
prolific in their debris. Not sure

Saying that, the damage I get to motherboards
is always when there has been a battery

This computer generally runs fine

Power and boot up no problem

Drive works without any issue

RAM card functioning with switch
