Entry 10th November 2023: Post 1: November 2005 Additions - Quite a memorable list.
November 2005 Additions - Quite a memorable list.
I was going through one of my old diaries from November 2005 and
I came across a series of pictures of this room. Behind my chair
was piled a load of computer games and software which obviously
I was in the process of cataloguing and photographing. I became
a touch intrigued and so went on a search to see just what I had
acquired for the collection in November 2005, some 18 years ago.
I was truly amazed.
Not only had I added to the collection the A4000T new case but
also another A3000T. The list of new machines was quite extensive.
It is quite incredible just how much kit, games and software I was
able to amass in such a short time.
I recall many of the items I travelled to collect. The journey to
pick up the A4000T mint case involved a trip to a housing estate
where a young lady handed over the boxed case admitting she hadn't
the first clue what it was. Inside the cardboard box and foam
packing was a never used bare Amiga 4000T case without motherboard
manufactured in West Germany. No idea how it came to be in the
country.
Interestingly there are still many of the computers that have not
featured on the blog and do not have the higher quality pictures
associated with them. I have linked today the various machines
that have featured on the blog over the years, but I still have
a lot of work to do on that front. Maybe next year.
Anyhoo time to go back to November 2005 and the new acquisitions.
behind my chair in November 2005. Incredible !
