ScuzzBlog: Diaries October 2017 Entry 7th October 2017: Post: 1 Amstrad Action In my efforts to expand on the software for the Amstrad I am following the age old tradition of getting stuff off covers to magazines. Today I received four cassettes from that wonderful publication ' Amiga Action ' I also acquired a great little book called the Amstrad CPC464 Disc System... including CP/M and printers by Ian Sinclair Little known fact but the Amstrad CPC464 was one of the most successful computers in Europe. Its sales exceeded 2 million. Introduced in 1984 and originally sold at £250 in the UK. The particularly long shaped computer lasted all the way to 1990 when it was replaced with the CPC464 Plus.
