Aunty Beeb
The words of Cuddly Ken who coined the words Aunty Beeb and then
was sacked for suggesting some odd going on with the minister
of transport or something. When he returned they insisted that
his show be recorded so that they could check what he was going
to play and say before it went on air. This gave Kenny Everett
the opportunity to record some magical sequences at his studio
out on his farm. Magical times for me those Sunday afternoons.
The man was a true genius sadly no longer with us. But the Beeb
still lives on.
And so to the subject here... The BBC computer. Not a fan but
looks nice propped up above the 1200. Feel a bit like Rick Wakeman
when I have them both on.
