If you own an Amiga or if you don't there is really no excuse for not at least using the emulator. The joy with the emulator is that you can set the configuration to auto-detect CDs that you insert in your drive. This enables CD discs to be activated immediately they are inserted into the PC. The joy is that there is no special file structure for Amiga CDs that prevent a conventional CD drive from reading Amiga discs. Amiga CD discs are filled to the brim with useful resources. The Aminet sets of discs are particularly useful for all kinds of Amiga related files. All you need really is say DOpus set to view the CD by configuring the drive buttons. Make sure you have LHA in the C drawer for creating LHA files when necessary and configure a button to create LHA files from the interface. DOpus already handles the unarchiving process as part of the software. Amazingly the Amiga will recognise any CD that you bung in the drive so there really are unlimited possibilities in respect to data transfer from CD libraries that come up on auction houses.
