The question I posed myself today was whether DPaintV would run on an Amiga 500 Plus. The answer was yes. You need to update the asl.library which is included with DPaint. To do this I drafted in an A590 that had been in store since June 2018 by the looks of it. This drive has an old XT drive but is running 2.04 on a 2.0 ROM and so is well suited to the Amiga 500 Plus. The installation went without a problem and after a short while I was able to change the text colour and font type, all as I had done on the A1200 the day before. So yes DPaintV will work on the Amiga 500 Plus. Nuff said. Deluxe Paint V - On an A-500 Plus.
