It is not like me to use other peoples photographs but in this instance I sense I had no choice. When I tripped upon the very splendid VIC-1010 Expansion Module it kinda took my breath away. How I had never seen this thing before is baffling. Just shows that you aint ever seen everything. The pictures are from the website 'NIGHTFALL' which I would suggest you visit as it is retro heaven. https://www.nightfallcrew.com/15/01/2010/commodore-vc-1010-vic-1010-expansion-module/ The unit known as either VC-1010 or VIC-1010 slots into the rear of the VIC-20, has its own power supply, and gives six slots from the top of the expansion. There is also a model 1020 for the Commodore PET. So if you thought Gotek interfaces were a new thing then think again. Commodore were producing multi ROM hardware expansions back in 1981. I am still baffled as to how I never came across this before. Had I known I would have been searching for one. Never mind. If the guys at Nightfall object to me showing their images then please advise and I'll remove them. The images for this thing are as rare as the beast itself.
