scuzzblog diaries for September 2017
... Hope you enjoyed that. If you wish to read more then why not drop me a line
Got a date with a ghost!!
PLEASE READ !!!
Before viewing the blogs on this page be aware that the blogs were created
at a transition period between my entries to the Yahoo Group and the web
page. Up until January 2017 I had most of the collection in store boxed in
tubs and under dust sheets. Events of the late 2016 period caused me to
extract all that I have and catalogue my collection. At first I was literally
swamped in items and very quickly recorded matters on an old office chair
under the rooms tungsten light. Hence the yellow images on the blogs. You
will also note the grey chair appearing in most shots.
After my first adventure matters calmed a little as the collection became
a little more ordered. I wanted to move away from the wood grain pictures
of the original collection photographs and so I set up on the bench in the
kitchen. I installed a proper white light lamp and was able to position the
tripod with way more control.
I therefore ask that the blogs you read from the 2017 era you do so noting
the way the pictures were created. I guess I could have just said the pics
were crap but hey, that is not me.
One point I have struggled with is the camera sharpness. I am a creature of
habit and rarely like to change. I used a Canon G7 camera in these days and
it gave very sharp images. I managed to break that camera and since have
purchased two more. Neither have had the crisp sharp image of my original.
I have considered a new camera many times but I have tried others and they
give out a yellow blotch on images. It annoys me. The modern cell phone
camera may be better but I prefer a hands on camera. No doubt in time I will
change but for now I give you more excuses as to why my pictures are poor.
At least my hearts in the right place albeit a little worn.
